Great Ocean Road visits Kannan

This  will  astound  you...        (Remember ;Born  Free'?)

i have just loaded my first ever video. i've tried and tried. i don't have a mobile telephone/digital camera as all funky people do. This movie is from Kannan whom i knew from yesteryear as a potter.

Kannan, born in Kerala, contacted Urban Seed to re-find me. i 'lost' him again (i have never forgotten he told me his large family farm had rice, coconut, jackfruit as well as many labourers. My mouth watered whenever i thought of his farm. Once, the young Kannan (Subramanion?) had a major cut to his arm. His Mum told the others to gather cow pats ("had to be warm"). Kannan's Mum bandaged the arm and over time God healed it - without a scar!!!

We email each other but have yet to meet face-to-face...
(i  hope  Kannan  is  still  a  creative  spirit.)

The panoramic Great Ocean Road starts at Anglesea and ends, i think, at the Twelve Apostles at Port Campbell. This is the Victorian Tourism website for the region:  www.visitvictoria.com/Regions/Great-Ocean-Road/Destinations.aspx

i caught the train earlier this year to beautiful Portland which is further west and Victoria' first settlement (1834). i walked (i hate cars) to see the wind farms up close and personal - my first encounter with the controversial  TRIFFIDS.

Looking up "Kannan" on youtube (via blogger) led me to an amazingly silly Indian romantic dance, which appears below also. We need a lot more insanity to cope with an ultra-sane standardised world!!
